Typography Project - Kolesa P6
These are some of my reference photos that I used to help my vision of what I was looking for: I used them because i wanted a beach vibe and the font is really pretty. The colors that are mixed together definitely reminded me of water and the beach. Even though this isn't in color , i could see that the font would go good with the color that i had in mind. FINAL PHOTO / WRITE UP For the final product i decided to mix the quotes. I used watercolor on this piece and it started off really well at first but then it started to look a little sloppy. My inspiration was the beach because i love the beach and how peaceful it is. The colors are warm and i used those colors specifically to bring out that beach vibe that i was going for. There is movement in this painting from the strokes of the words going off of one another. My favorite thing about this is the word "think" which i think i did pretty good on and the anchor is really pretty too. What i could
