These are some of my reference photos that I used to help my vision of what I was looking for: I used them because i wanted a beach vibe and the font is really pretty. The colors that are mixed together definitely reminded me of water and the beach.   Even though this isn't in color , i could see that the font would go good with the color that i had in mind. FINAL PHOTO / WRITE UP For the final product i decided to mix the quotes. I used watercolor on this piece and it started off really well at first but then it started to look a little sloppy. My inspiration was the beach because i love the beach and how peaceful it is. The colors are warm and i used those colors specifically to bring out that beach vibe that i was going for. There is movement in this painting from the strokes of the words going off of one another. My favorite thing about this is the word "think" which i think i did pretty good on and the anchor is really pretty too. What i could

Rough draft My inspiring artist is Salvador Dalí. I used his famous “The Persistence Of Memory” for reference.   MORE REFERENCE FINAL PHOTO/ WRITE UP: In this drawing i was inspired by Salvador Dali and his art work "The Persistence Of Memory". The idea of a parody of artwork sounded really fun to me when i thought of it.When i thought of what i would put in the drawing i decided to put things that i enjoy doing or enjoy eating. In this case, my favorite thing to do is play basketball and pizza is one of my favorite foods to eat. I stuck with the melting of the objects in the picture because that is one thing that sticks out in Dali's art. I used graphite for this piece and the thing i like the most about it is the shading which indicates that the basketballs and pizza melting (movement). There is variety here in the shading it may not be color but everything on here is a different grey color. Many shapes are in this piece al

Rough Draft photos Reference photos : Final phase photo :  There is a lot of Value that went into my drawing , for example the accessories are very bold and even the scar on her face. The texture of the shading is more in the part of her neck and face sculpting. There is movement in the neck and eyes. My characters name is Winter, and she is a high class elf with a father that is King Joseph of  Spindlewood and mother Queen Isladora. Winter was born 200 years ago and has pretty white hair. Her Faction Rank is Eldremar , very few elves get into that because you have to have an inheritance of witch blood and Winter has that. Winter has a special power of  reading the minds of others, when she uses that power her eyes start to glow a bright blue and it almost looks like she is blind. Winter wants to be in the upcoming war but her father does not think a princess should do a mens job but Winter disobeys and does what she desires to do.  Personal strengths and gro

Human figure project by: Doris Brooks Published February 28, 2019 This is my human figure project that I created. I am not used to drawing full bodies with movement so I tried my best and I think it came out pretty good. I don’t really have a vivid imagination so most of my drawings are pretty simple and I usually need reference for them. I would definitely say that there is some movement in this drawing I used some form for the eyes and hair, and there is a lot of space makes it look like she is in a room by herself crying with sorrow in her doe eyes which I tried to make as real as possible. My reference photo, rough draft , and final product
